Please assist the Town’s snow removal effort this weekend. If possible, remove your vehicles from the roadside by parking in your driveway to allow passage for the snow plow. Additionally, please wait to clear your driveway until the snow plows have had an opportunity to clear the street.
A note of caution, we are anticipating that extremely cold temperatures will hamper the efficacy of de-icing chemicals. This combined with periods of very heavy snow fall will make it very difficult to completely remove snow from all roadways down to the black top. All roads will be cleared; however, please use caution while driving as there may be slick or icy surfaces.
Finally, in the interest of public safety and as a courtesy to our neighbors, please make arrangements to clear sidewalks within twenty four hours after a snowfall.
