The Blacksburg Planning and Building Department has received an addition to a request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a Fine Arts Studio in the Old Town Residential Zoning District at 403 Washington Street, SW, by the YMCA at Virginia Tech, to include a conditional use permit request for Non-Single Unit Residential Use of an Alley in the Old Town Residential Zoning District. This additional request came prior to the Planning Commission Public Hearing on March 2, 2010, and resulted in a delay of one month. This is a revision to a previous conditional use permit resulting in Resolution 11-E-90
The following meetings have been scheduled to consider this application:
Neighborhood Meeting: The Neighborhood Meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 15, 2010, at 5:30 PM in the Blacksburg Motor Company Conference Room at 400 S Main Street
Planning Commission Work Session: This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 5:00 PM in the Blacksburg Motor Company Conference Room at 400 S Main Street.
Planning Commission Public Hearing: The Planning Commission Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 7:30 PM in the Roger E. Hedgepeth Chambers located on the second floor of the Municipal Building
Town Council Public Hearing: The Town Council Public Hearing will be scheduled following final action by the Planning Commission.
