Historic Smithfield will be hosting a trip to Old Salem Museums and Gardens on March 31st. This restoration of a 1776 Moravian settlement has been called one of the most accurate living history museums in the country. There will be a stop at West Wind Winery on the return trip where there will be a short tour and wine tasting.
The costs are $70 for Montgomery Branch APVA members and $75 for non-members. Cost includes bus fare, lunch at the famous 1816 Old Salem Tavern, admission to all Old Salem attractions, and a tax-deductible donation to Historic Smithfield.
