The Town of Blacksburg’s recommended operating budget for fiscal year 2010/2011 has been submitted to Council for their consideration and is now available online for the public to view. The Recommended Budget incorporates sound financial principals in addition to Town Council’s vision to be a dynamic, sustainable, livable community balancing environmental stewardship, economic opportunity, technological leadership, and the arts.
Several Town Council work sessions and meetings are scheduled over the next few weeks to review and discuss the Recommended Budget in more detail. The dates are as follows:

April 13, 7:30 pm Public Hearing on Recommended Budget, Town Council Chambers
