The Blacksburg Community Center's mission is to provide the best in leisure services for all the citizens of the Town of Blacksburg and surrounding areas. Allow staff to help with leisure time needs, whether it revolves around:
Sports: basketball, volleyball, badminton, ping pong , soccer
Fitness: fitness center, aerobic classes, yoga, Jazzercise
Educational: computers, dog obedience, writing, dance, safety, sports, arts, music, dance
Social activities and clubs: photography, dances, writing, senior programs, senior breakfast, AARP events
Rentals: gym, multipurpose rooms, receptions, parties, lock-ins, meetings, etc.
Please commen on the center and what improvements or additional programs should be provided.
The Parks and Recreation Department is always grateful for any donations, whether it is a sponsorship for a child in a program or an endowment for a new facility.Donations given today will bring long term benefits for friends and neighbors for years to come.
