The Town of Blacksburg’s Fair Housing Campaign entitled, “Fair Housing – The Way to Live in Blacksburg” began in 2005. This campaign encompasses all areas of the housing market including, sale, rental, financing, and construction. According to federal and state fair housing laws, you can not be discriminated against according to race, religion, national origin, color, sex, familial status, disability, or elderliness. The goal of the Fair Housing campaign is to increase awareness through education and community involvement.
