Under general supervision, this position will assist children and other pedestrians at school crosswalks and perform related duties as required. Good hand and arm coordination is required to be considered. Qualified applicants must be able to control traffic, stand for long periods of time, withstand varying types of weather conditions, and deal effectively with the public.
A high school diploma or GED is required. Hourly rate is $13.00. Available working hours are approximately 8:00 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. and/or 3:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, but may vary with changes in school schedule. Current openings are for one position to work both mornings and afternoons and for one position to work afternoons only. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week during the academic year. This position will not exceed 1,500 hours during the initial year of employment or during the Affordable Care Act measurement period of April 1st through March 31st. A satisfactory post-offer, pre-employment criminal background investigation will be required of the selected applicant.
