WTOB

WTOB is the Town of Blacksburg’s Community Access television station broadcasting on the Comcast Cable network. WTOB can be seen on channel 2 in Blacksburg and channel 16 on the Virginia Tech campus. WTOB has served the Blacksburg community since 1986, offering a wide array of both community and government access programming. The station also offers a community bulletin board service allowing local non-profit organizations the opportunity to submit announcements to be posted on WTOB. To submit an announcement fill out the submission form or fax it to (540) 961-1875. Please review the Community Bulletin Board Guidelines before emailing or faxing your announcement. 

All WTOB produced programming can also be streamed or downloaded using the online video archive. Town Council and Planning Commission meetings can be viewed live on the date of the meeting and up to one year of meetings are available for viewing on demand.
