The goal of the NRV Tree Rescuers is to alert local homeowners to the danger presented by invasive vines, that can smother and strangle mature trees. For this event, volunteers will receive a short training at the Town of Blacksburg's Planning & Engineering Dept Building, after which we will work as a group to "blitz" a nearby neighborhood where we know there are lots of trees at risk from invasive vines.
