Heritage Park Restoration Project - Service Project

Since 2024, the Town of Blacksburg has been working on a major restoration project along the creek that flows through Heritage Park. Each month, volunteers from the NRV Master Naturalists meet up to remove invasive regrowth in the project area and monitor the progress of newly planted native trees and shrubs and emerging native wildflowers.
