The Blacksburg Aquatic Center is an indoor aquatic facility. The Aquatic Center offers six lap lanes in a 25 yard swimming pool with a splash pool and zero depth entry. The aquatic center also has a hot tub, men’s and women's saunas, locker rooms, family changing room, and a lobby area.

Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday	5:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Saturday	9 a.m.-12:00.p.m.
Sunday	1-5:00 p.m.

The pool closes fifteen minutes before the building. 

Therapy Swim

The Aquatic Center is closed to the general public 9-11am Monday - Friday for Therapy Swim. 
Therapy Swim time is restricted to only those patrons who have had water exercise prescribed by a physician. A doctor's note and daily admission or a swim pass are required to use the pool during Therapy Swim times.

Seniors (55 & up): $3.75
Youth (3-14): $3.75

After 7 p.m. rates decrease by $.50

Children under the age of three are free with a paying, swimming adult.

All Swim Passes expire one year from purchase date and include use of the lap pool, spa, saunas, and water aerobics during appropriate hours.

Rentals

Pool Parties

The facility is available year round for Private Rentals on Fridays 7:15-9:15pm, and Saturdays 12:15-2:15pm.  All private rental reservations must be made at least two full weeks in advance, and payment must be made at the time the party is reserved. 

Private Rental Package: $135

Pool admission for up to 25 people. 
For parties larger than 25 people there will be an additional charge of $35. Up to 75 swimmers is an additional $50.

Add a Float Package to any private rental for $40. Includes use of all aquatic center inflatable toys and animals. Float toys may vary according to availability.

Lobby Rental Package: $75 

This package includes pool admission for up to 15 people and use of the lobby for two hours.
Additional price per person is $3.

PLEASE NOTE: The lobby will remain open to other pool patrons at all times.



Packages do not include food. The party may bring their own food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Groups larger than 25 people must make reservations at least two weeks in advance.
