Beginning Tuesday, May 20 at 8 am the through/right turn lane, 2-hr parking area and sidewalk at Clay Street SW and South Main Street will be closed. A contractor, working on the Blacksburg Motor Company, will be utilizing the lane, parking area and sidewalk to perform maintenance on the building’s façade. Vehicles wishing to proceed on Clay Street or turn on South Main Street will be able to do so from the remaining lane but should proceed with caution. Pedestrians will be directed to cross at South Main Street and Draper Road and utilize the sidewalk on the northside of Clay St. SW. Pedestrians and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate options if possible.

Work is expected to take three days to complete. The through/right turn lane and parking area will be closed daily between 8 am and 6 pm. All work is expected to be completed by 6 pm on Thursday, May 22.
