July 31 update:
Paving work has been completed in the Mountain View Neighborhood. The contractor will be working to do minor clean-up July 31 and August 1. Work has commenced in the Miller Southside neighborhood today. However, work on Draper Rd. will not commence until Monday due to the Draper 1-mile race during Steppin' Out, tomorrow evening. Work is expected to take two more weeks to complete, weather dependent.
July 17:
Beginning Monday, July 21 at 7am, repaving work will commence on portions of the Miller Southside and Mountain View neighborhood streets.
Areas affected will be:
Draper Road from Washington Street to Airport Drive
Church Street from Eheart Street to Hemlock Drive
Mountain View Drive
Eakin Street from Draper Road to Kentwood Drive
Penn Street SE
Hemlock Drive from Draper Road to Willard Drive
Edgewood Lane from Draper Road to South Main Street
Reynolds Avenue
Paving work will be conducted at daily between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Milling of the road surface will proceed paving work and residents are asked to move their vehicles from the roadway until road resurfacing is complete.
Alternating lane closures with flagger will be employed to maintain traffic. Work will be coordinated to limit impacts and maintain access to adjacent residents and businesses. Short duration closures of entrances should be expected to complete milling and resurfacing operations. Work is expected to take 4 weeks, weather permitting.
