On Wednesday, August 27 at 8:00am, Blacksburg Public Works will begin reinstalling speed humps on Draper Road following recent area paving work. Starting at the intersection of Miller Street and Draper Road, crews will close one block at a time as work progresses, beginning with the block from Miller Street to Eheart Street. This work is expected to take two days, weather permitting. It is anticipated that the closed blocks will reopen to through traffic by 4:30pm each day. During these closures, traffic will be detoured to South Main Street or Preston Avenue.
