Beginning Monday, February 22nd, the Public Works Department will be offering free curbside brush collection for snow and ice storm related vegetative debris. 

Residents will be required to call the Public Works Department to request a special pickup, and collections will be done in the order they are received. 

Requests will be taken until Friday March 5th, and will be limited to one pickup per household.  For more information, and to request a pick up, contact Public Works at 540-443-1200.

Brush Pickup Guidelines

• Limited to one dump truck load, (10’x7’x3’), of brush per location per pickup date.
• Cut into lengths no greater than seven feet and no greater than six inches in diameter
• Stacked outside and away from any fencing, mailboxes, shrubbery, lampposts, or any other structure or obstacles which may be damaged by town equipment
