Construction has begun on the Multi Modal Transit Facility on the Virginia Tech campus. Beginning May 17, Perry Street and Stanger Street will be closed to through traffic. Motorists and pedestrians in the area should use caution and watch for traffic detour and construction signs. 

Perry Street will remain closed while Stanger Street will reopen in mid-August once construction of the planned roundabout is complete. For a more detailed look at the construction site, download this map (pdf).
