The Blacksburg Bucks program has made a huge impact on our local business community through the infusion of $600,000 into our local retailers, restaurants, fitness studios, dance studios, personal services business and others. The program matched $300,000 of private citizen spending with $300,000 of CARES Act funding to encourage direct local spending in our amazing business community.

To date, over $450,000 has been spent. As we approach the 6-month expiration of the Blacksburg Bucks certificates we encourage those with remaining funds to step into our Blacksburg business community and enjoy the amazing food, products, and services they have to offer. Certificates expire 6 months from the date of issuance.
