Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation Reopens June 1

The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation is RE-OPENING for regular hours on June 1. The Alexander Black House and Cultural Center features nine individual exhibits inside and out along with our permanent exhibit of African American heritage at St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall.  

June 4th at the Alexander Black House and Cultural Center
Everyone is invited to bring a blanket or chairs and pack their lunch, get a takeout from a local restaurant or visit our onsite food truck and enjoy activities at the Museum. 
A special Sixteen Squares Tour with Hugh Campbell at 10am (registration required 540-443-1600)

Lunch on the Lawn 11:00 to 2:00

Music on the Porch by Indian Run String Band

Storytelling for Children by Julia Fallon

Create Your Own Succulent Container Garden 

Food Truck by Hethwood Market

“Make Your Move” Challenge Signup, collect a Swag Bag, and learn more about NVBA,  Blacksburg Striders, Friends of the Huckleberry Trail, and ROAM NRV
