The Blacksburg Aquatic Center is an indoor aquatic facility. The Aquatic Center offers six lap lanes in a 25 yard swimming pool with a splash pool and zero depth entry. Please call 540-443-1120 to reserve lap lanes.  The aquatic center also has a hot tub for ages 15 & over, men’s and women's saunas, locker rooms, private changing room, and a lobby area.

Therapy Swim

The Aquatic Center is closed to the general public 9-11 a.m. Monday - Friday for Therapy Swim.

Therapy Swim time is restricted to those patrons who have had water exercise prescribed by a physician. A doctor's note and daily admission or a swim pass are required to use the pool during Therapy Swim times.

Water Aerobics

AquaFit!

M-F 9-10am

M, W,  6:30-7:30pm

Conducted in deep and shallow water, AquaFit! is designed to give a total body workout with little or no impact.  Class includes cardio, toning, and stretching. Participants should be comfortable in deep water. Flotation belts available.

Rentals

Pool Parties

The facility is available year round for private rentals on Fridays from 7:15-9:15 p.m., and Saturdays 5:15-7:15pm All private rental reservations must be made at least one full week in advance. Groups larger than 25 people must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.  Full payment is required at time rental is scheduled.    

Private Rental Package: $145

Pool admission for up to 25 people. 
For parties larger than 25 people there will be an additional charge of $35.

Add a Float Package to any private rental for $40. Includes use of all aquatic center inflatable toys and animals. Float toys may vary according to availability.
