Description:

Conditional Use Permit request (CUP-26-2) for General Office, Medical Office and Fine Arts Studio uses in the R-5 Transitional Residential Zoning District.  The project consists of the proposed conversion of three residential structures to General Office, Medical Office and Fine Arts Studio.  The project also includes the addition of 1,200 square foot single story building to be built on a slab behind 706 South Main Street for the purpose of General Office, Medical Office and Fine Arts Studio.  The applicant is planning the following site modifications:  a two-way access drive located off Eakin Street to be shared by all the structures; stormwater management bioretention system in the area between 700 and 706 South Main Street; removal of two brick garage structures.  The property is designated Medium Density Residential in the Town of Blacksburg Comprehensive Plan.
