Description:

Conditional Use Permit request (CUP-26-1) for Financial Institution with drive-through window on a 1.16-acre vacant lot.  A financial institution with a drive-through window was approved as an allowable use through Conditional Use Permit (CUP 22-0006) and Rezoning Amendment (RZN 22-0003) in 2023.  The specific use and site layout for this lot were not decided at the time of approval.  As a condition of the original approval, the property owner was required to amend the Conditional Use Permit prior to the development of the parcel to establish the proposed use and site layout.  The applicant is also requesting exceptions to Section 3164 of the Town of Blacksburg Zoning Ordinance for cross-access drive requirements and Section 3162(i) for parking located in front of the front building line.  The property is designated Commercial in the Town of Blacksburg Comprehensive Plan.
